Day 01 Arrive Delhi

Welcome To India! On arrival India Trip Packages’ Staff will meet and greet you, then transfer to your pre booked Hotel by Schaffer driven car and Overnight.

Day 02 Delhi
After Breakfast at hotel Full day Sightseeing of Delhi.

Delhi -The Administrative and Political powerhouse of the world largest democracy is a mixture of ancient and modern character of India.

Old Delhi: It was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the first half of the 17th century on the bank of river Yamuna. It was surrounded by 20sq km city wall with many Gates. In side the walled city you will drive past by Red Fort to Jumma Masque to visit. Enjoy Rick ride through narrow lanes which is perfect introduction of your tour. Then visit the crimination place of Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation, commonly known as Raj Ghat.

New Delhi: The 2nd Part of City was founded by British Emperor in 1911AD, situated immediately to the south. The British built new capital of New Delhi, a self - conscious attempt to match the imperial grandeur of the Mughal capital, while post independence Delhi has dramatically accelerated its suburban expansion. Here you will visit Rashtrapati Bhavan or President Palace (earlier Viceroys Residence), Parliament House, then drive through Rajpath or King’s way to India Gate, the World War Memorial of Indian and Foreign Soldiers, Humayun’s Tomb, the grave of 2nd Mughal Emperor but the very 1st Mughal construction in India with typical double dome structure, Qutab Miner, landmark of Delhi, built in 13th century Sultanate ruler, Qutubuddin Ibak, Birla Mandir, the Hindu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Godderss Laxmi, built in 1931AD and opened by Mathma Gandhi, finally photo stop at Bahai Temple, commonly call as Lotus Temple, the newly built temple by Bahai community and drive back to Hotel for Overnight.

Day 03 Delhi – Varanasi
After breakfast at the hotel transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Varanasi. On arrival India Trip Packages’ Representative will meet with you to transfer to your Hotel to assist to check-in.

Afternoon visit Sarnath – the sacred Buddhist city where Gautama Buddha preached his first sermon to his 5 disciples under the bodhi tree. Visit the site and the temple attached to it. See the frescoes related to the life of Buddha inside the temple. Also visit the archaeological museum that houses artifacts from the 3rd century BC. Most interesting is the lion capital of Ashoka Maurya from 272 BC. Adjacent to the museum is the ancient seat of learning from the 2nd century BC now completely in ruins. Also see the Dhamek Stupa and the Dharmarajika Stupa where hundreds of Buddhist pilgrims offer there prayers. Evening come back to Varanasi and proceed for Evening Aarti Ceremony(Evening Ritual Cerimony) at Dasashwamedh Ghats from the boat, which is an unique event of Varanasi. Back at Hotel and rest of the time at your leisure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 04 Varanasi - Khajuraho
Early in the morning (0500hrs) we take you to banks of the river Ganges where we board a boat to see the morning ablutions of the Hindus from the security of our boat. The Boat Ride starts from Dasashwamedh Ghat and ends at Manikarnika Ghat along the sacred Ganges. Don’t forget to see the sun rise along the Ganges. See the Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Gyanvyapi kund and the mosque attached to it. Also visit the Benares Hindu University the largest residential university in India with more than 30000 residential students. Also worth a visit is the Bharat Mata Mandir(Mother India temple) where you see the undivided India – Mahatma Gandhi’s Dream. Return to your hotel for breakfast. Later check-out from your hotel and transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Khajuraho – the Millennium Destination of India.

Upon arrival at Khajuraho Airport India Trip Packages’ Representative will meet with you to transfer to your Hotel and assist you to check-in. In the evening witness the DANCES OF INDIA SHOW in a nearby auditorium. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 05 Khajuraho – Orchha
Morning sight seeing shows us the temples built during the 9th to the 11th centuries by the powerful dynasty of Chandela Rajputs. The temples with their erotic sculptures are a feast to the eyes. The Chandelas built 85 temples in all but today only 20 temples stand intact. Visit the Kandariya Maheshwar temple and the Laxmana Temple along with Varaha temple and then onto the Jain group of temples. Back to Hotel to Check-out and drive towards Orchha.

Visit Orchha with its imposing Jehangiri Mehal and the Cenotaphs of the Bundela Rajput warriors. Orchcha a medieval village where time has stopped. You feel the timelessness of this spot. Orchha is a medieval city founded by Bundela rulers with palaces and temples of the 16th and 17th century – which have remarkably withstood the onslaught of time. The river Betwa picturesquely flanks the city. See the beautiful Palace Complex – Jahangiri Mahal and the Raja Mahal. Closely study the intricacies of the mural paintings in the Raja Mahal . Visit the visit the Laxmi Narayan Temple during the prayer time in the evening to witness the Hindu devotees offering prayers in the temple. Overnight in Orchha Resort.

Day 06 Orchha – Gwalior – Agra
After breakfast you will leave your hotel for Agra enroute visiting the Scindia Capital of Gwalior. A trip to Gwalior is incomplete without a visit to the fort, Scindia Palace and the Tombs of Ghaus Mohammed and Tansen. Also visit the Gurjari Mahal the palace of the Gurjar queen Mrignayani today housing an archaeological museum. Also see the Teli ka mandir and the Saas bahu ka mandir inside the Fort.

Continue your journey towards Agra. By Evening you will reach Agra. At your Hotel you will meet with India Trip Packages’ Staff, who will assist you to check-in and explain about your Sight seeing and Overnight at Hotel.

Day 07 Agra
The most highlighted day for you. You will get up early morning to proceed towards Taj Mahal. Early morning visit Taj Mahal by Sunrise. As the Sun rises and its rays kiss the dome of the Taj Mahal and change of colour on Taj Mahal dome, very spectracular moment. The Taj Mahal, the First World Wonder, built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. It has wonderful mixture of Hindu and Muslim architecture, built with red sand stone and covered by milk white marble from Makrana. On the west bank of river Yumana opposite of Red Fort. This monument took 22 years to be completed by 22000 of Workers and 20000 Craftsmen. It was designed, and planned by Persian architect Ustad Isa. Apart from its stunning design, balance and perfect symmetry, the Taj is also noted particularly for its elegant domes, intricately carved screens and some of the best inlay work ever seen anywhere in the world.

Then see the Agra Fort built by Akbar that houses many fabulous palaces built in Indo Islamic style. See the marble palace of Shahjehan that was built with the remaining and rejected stones from the Taj Mahal – Mussamman Burj.

After visiting Taj Mahal come back at Hotel and enjoy your relax Breakfast. Afterwards proceed for the Tomb of Itmad ud Daulah, the Tomb of the finance minister of the Mughals Emperor Jahangir and father of Mughal Empresses Noor Jehan it is commonly call as Baby Taj. At this monument you will see combination of white marble and yellow fasile sand stone from desert. Then visit Sikandara the tomb of the great emperor Akbar.

Afternoon visit Red Fort of Agra which is spreaded over 3sq km area on the bank of river Yamuna. Inside the fort you can visit different Apartments such as Dewan-i-am, Dewan-I Khas, Hammam, Macchi Bhawan, Nagina Masque, Meena Bazar.
Way back to hotel you can visit Inlaid work demonstration where you can also buy some souvenir from Agra. Rest of your time at your leasure. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 8 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Jaipur
Leave early morning for Jaipur and enroute visiting the phantom city of Fatehpur Sikri : the 2nd capital of the Great Mughal emperor Akbar the.
Visit the Diwan-i-am, the Hall of Public Audiences where the emperor used to give justice to the oppressed subject of his. Diwan-i-Khas, Hall of Private Audience, where the Emperior used to discuss about religion, Jodhabai’s Palace (Akbar’s Hindu wife) that is even bigger than his own private palace. Palaces of Muslim and Christen wives. Later visit Salim Chisti’s Tomb at the nearby mosque. Salim chisti was a sufi saint who blessed Akbar and his Hindu wife with a long awaited son. Akbar was so overwhelmed that he built a mosque in his remembrance to thank the Sufi saint.
Continue your drive towards the Pink City - Jaipur.

Day 9 Jaipur – Amber - Jaipur
After breakfast you will proceed for an short excursion to Amber Fort where you can enjoy elephant ride of royal days. The Palace has beautiful combination of Rajput and Mughal Architecture. The foundation stone laid by Mirja Raja Swai Man Singh in 16th century. The oldest part of the palace is Baradari, which is meeting point for 12(twelve) wives of Raja Man Singh. Ganesh Pole, Suhag Mandir, Jas Mandir, Hall of Pleasure and Summer Palace are fascinating parts of this palace. Later you can visit Kali Temple at the Fort.

Afternoon visit Old City. The beautiful City Palace Museum, where you will see the beautiful collections of old Royal Garments, Carpets, Arms and ammunition, at Dancing Court Yard, nice painted Doors etc. Beside City Palace you will visit Jantar Mantar, the Observatory. It is one of the five Observatory which is till being used to get local time of Jaipur, to make a Horoscope and Calander for Different Hindu rituals. This was built by Mirja Raja Swai Jai Singh, founder of city Jaipr in 1727AD. The landmark of Jaipur is Hawa Mahal or Palace of Wind will be also visit for Photos.

Afterwards you will enjoy Rick ride at Choti Chopad through narrow lanes of stone carvers and different others business people. During rick ride you will get idea of Jaipur daily life.

Here can enjoy very good opportunity to do Shopping till to dropping. Jaipur is famous for traditional Textiles, Carpets, Gems and Jewelry. It is specially famous for cutting precious and semi-precious Gems and making Jewelries. After finishing your tour, way back to your hotel you can visit according to your choice of visiting Textile and Carpet making factory, Jewelry making factory etc.

After Rick ride walk through old part of the city to enjoy city life.

Day 10 Jaipur – Luni
After a leisurely breakfast in your hotel leave for Luni. Luni is a quaint little village with a palace hotel in the center of this village. Luni is a Bishnoi village where life is respected in every form. It is a lifetime experience to be received by the royal family who still lives inside the castle. In the evening the ambiance is lit up by local artistes and performers who dance to local tunes.

Day 11 Luni – Jaisalmer
Early morning after breakfast you will go for village safari to discover the hidden beauty of the jungle life. Here you would be visiting the Bishnoi Villages. Bishnois are one of the oldest tribe in Rajasthan who are follower of Jamboji and protector of wild animals’. The Tribe that respects life in every form – animals’ trees and even dead leaves and branches. They are vegetarians and even in the villages they protect the animal life and don’t let anybody practice hunting in the vicinity of their villages. They live in a joint family system where the oldest member is generally the head of the family.

Then we would like you to witness the opium ceremony with the Patel’s – a rich tribe. It is a ceremony prevalent in this part of Rajasthan where the youth offers opium to drink mixed with water to the elders of the family when they come back from work in the fields.

Afterwards leave Luni for Jaisalmer – the Golden City of Rajasthan and enroute visit the fort at Pokaran Visit the 15th century fortress where the 3rd Mughal emperor, Akbar the Great, was born in 1543. The bazaar in the middle of this village is very colourful and full of local flavours. Afternoon reach at the Golden City, Jaisalmer. At your Hotel India Trip Packages’ Representative will meet to assist tocheck-in and immdeatly proceed for spectacular Sunset at Desert from cremenation ground of the pristers of Jaisalmer. Return to your hotel and Overnight.

Day 12 Jaisalmer
In the morning after breakfast at your hoteldiscover the hidden beauiy of this desert capital of the Bhattis. Visit the 2nd Oldest living fort of Rajasthan with more than 300 families. Visit the Royal Palace Museum, walk through narrow lanes to Jain Temples inside the oldest living citadel in the world. Come down from the Fort and enjoy Walking through narrow roads in the Town to Havelies of Patawa, Salam Singh and Nathumal. On the wayback to Hotel Stop at Gadisar Lake to get beautiful view of the Fort. Afternoon excursion to Sam Sand Dunes to enjoy Camel Ride on the Dunes. and enjoy beautiful Sun set, enrout visiting Ludharva Jain Temple. As the sun goes down the western horizon the ambiance is set for the ethnic desert tunes by local artistes. After Sunset enjoy Drinks & Dinner in the village with folk dances and come back to Hotel and Overnight.

Day 13 Jaisalmer – Bikaner
After breakfast leave the Golden City and proceed towards Bikaner, also known as Red City and reach by midday. At your hotel you will be welcomed by India Trip Packages’ Representative to assist you to check-in at palace hotel.

Afternoon visit the Junagarh Fort, a royal museum that encompasses history of Bikaner from its days of construction that dates back to the 16th century. Later visit the Camel-Breeding Farm, a unique experience. Evening time free to stroll in the busy market area of Bikaner city centre.

Day 14 Bikaner – Deshnoke – Nagaur - Khimsar
This morning after breakfast check-out from your and leave Bikaner to visit the world famous temple in the vicinity of Bikaner –the Karni Mata Mandir (Rat Temple). According to scriptures it is one of the most sacred temples for the Hindus as well as family Temple of Bikaner Royal House.

Drive continue towards Nagaur and visit the Ahichatragarh Fort of the Rathores of Jodhpur royal family. Visit the Hawa mahal and Hadi Rani Mahal and the Fresco Paintings on the walls of the palaces. Continue to drive a short distance towards Khimsar, a tiny village of finance minister of Jodhpur kingdom and spent the night in Fort Khimsar which is like Arabian Thousand Nights.

Day 15 Khimsar – Jodhpur
After breakfast proceed for the Bule City - Jodhpur. Stright drive to visit the spectacular Mehrangarh Fort the stronghold of the Rathore Princes from 1453AD. Here you will visit the gallery of superb collection of Marwer Paintings and Arms and Ammunitions. The view of the city from the Rampart walls is breath taking and unforgetable. On the way down to Town visit Jaswant Thada, Royal cremenation ground with one of the beautiful Cenetrop of Maharaja Jaswant Singh with milk white marble.

Then go to Mandore Gardens, the ancient capital of Marwar to view some of the fabulous cenotaphs and the hall of local heroes of the wars. Drive back to Jodhpur and visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, beautiful collection of different articles of Royal families. Part of the Umaid Bhawan Palace is present residence of the king of Jodhpur. Afternoon introduces you to the fabulous Spice Market of Jodhpur the 2nd largest city in Rajasthan. Walk along the market to feel the odours of the spices filling the air around you

Day 16 Jodhpur – Ranakpur – Narlai
Today after breakfast leave the Suncity and reach Ranakpur, the scared pilgrim center for the Jains. Jains are a community that developed during the 3rd century under Lord Mahavira (a contemporary of Lord Buddha) and they are strict vegetarians by religion. They eat nothing that grows below the earth like carrots, radish, potatoes etc. Their food consists of rice, wheat, lentils and green leafy vegetables.

Admire the workmanship from the 16th century. The temples are built out of marble and the main shrine of Adinath with 1444 columns is awe inspiring and none of these are similar. Also see the sun temple and the other temples in the campus.

After lunch in Ranakpur continue towards Narlai. Upon arrival in Narlai relax at hotel and enjoy beautiful atmosphere of Aravalli region or you can go out to visit the local bazaar of the village that is so exciting and colourful. Overnight at old fortress converted into Hotel.

Day 17 Narlai – Kumbhalgarh – Udaipur
After breakfast leave for White City, Udaipur, enrout visiting Kumbhalgarh Fort of Mewar kingdom. Later arrive in Udaipur where India Trip Packages’ Staff will meet and assist to check in to your hotel. Relax at for some times. Afterwards before sunset take Sunset Boat Cruise to Jagmandir Island Palace and enjoy sunset from there. Evening back at Hotel and relaxed. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 18 Udaipur
After B’fast proceed for excursion to Nagda, a white marble Temple complex of 8th century built by Bhagala dynestry known as Sas-Bahu Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu with erotic sculptures on exterior wall of the temple. Then proceed to visit the royal temple complex at Eklingji that is famous throughout the region. Eklanji Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, which is of 16th century’s temple complex with 108 temples. It is family temple of Sidhoia ruler of mewar.
PM visit City Palace Museum, Jagdish Temple, drive past by Fathe Sagar Lake to Sahelion-ki-Bari or Fountain Garden and Folk Lore Museum, Way back to Hotel also visit beautiful Miniature Painting School for which Udaipur is very famous. Here you will have an opportunity to see how in olden days Miniature Paintings have been done for the Royal Families. You can also buy at reagionable price direct from the Painters. Late afternoon back at Hotel and relax. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 19 Udaipur – Ahmedabad
After a leisurely breakfast at your hotel leave for Ahmedabad. Drive through the last part of Aravalli Range, on the newly conestracted road to reach Ahmedabad. Enrout visit 8th century Modera Sun Temple. Upon arrival India Trip Packages’ Staff will meet to assist you to check-in. Rest of the day at your leisure or you can go for short excursion to visit Akshardham Temple, Rich and Wonderful architecture. Located in Gandhinagar, about 20 km from Ahmedabad. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 20 Ahmedabad
After morning breakfast at your hotel visit the City of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit the Sabarmati Ashram where the Mahatma spent most of his life and later the ashram was converted in to a jail by the British from time to time to house arrest Mahatma Gandhi.

The Jama Masjid which is very particularly Persian in its architectural pattern. City Tour of Ahmedabad is incomplete without visit to the Calico Textile Museum where you will see textiles of different variety on display (not for sale). Sidi Sayed Mosque, is unique for its exquisite screens, which are praised for their amazing Jhali screen, framed, in the ten semi-circular windows. The screen carved out of one rock is just exceptional. A visit to this superb and outstanding example of delicate carving is an absolute must.

Jhulta Minara, Quite an unusual structure, Jhulta Minara or swaying minarets are a part of the mosque of Siddi Bashir and can be moved back and forth by applying a little force at the topmost arch. One of the minarets was partly demolished by an Englishman in his endeavors to unravel the mystery of the swaying minarets. The mosque was built by master craftsmen and the crucial mechanism that leads to the vibration is still a mystery. The other interesting fact here is that these minars stand the test of the rumbling trains that pass not very far away from them.
Afternoon is free for you to walk along the old city and feel the city at your own pace.

Day 21 Ahmedabad
Mumbai After Breakfast you will be transferred to Airport to catch the flight to Mumbai, The City Of Gold. Upon arrival India Trip Packages’ Staff will meet with you to transfer to Hotel and assist to check-in. Afternoon you will visit Marine Drive, Crawford Market, Malabar Hill, Hanging Gardens, the Jain Temple and Mani Bhawan. Return to Hotel and relax and Overnight.

Day 22 Mumbai
Next Destination After Breakfast proceed towards Gateway of India jetty to catch the Ferry to explore Elephanta Caves. The Caves, carved between 450 and 750 A.D.; including a visit to the Mahadeva Trimurti and the Ardhanareshvara sculptures, famous iconographical representations of Lord Shiva. Back to City and return to your Hotel. Rest of the day at your leisure. Evening after Dinner at hotel. Late evening checkout from your hotel and proceed to Airport for next destination or as you have plan.
